East Hounsfield Library is located along NYS Route 3 between Watertown and Sackets Harbor, diagonally across from The Cheese Store. The library is on the corner of NYS Route 3 and Rome State Road, about 3 miles from Watertown.
The library provides all general library services, including interlibrary loans.
The building is also the home of Joanne's Northern Lights Dance Company and the Crossroads Quilters.
East Hounsfield Library has two new staff members! Please come in the library and welcome them.
Sandra Bliss is our new Library Manager. She is working Wednesdays and Saturdays. She will be handling our delivery and youth services. If patrons have specific book requests for juvenile readers, please stop to see Sandra.
Lois Boshane is our staff member responsible for the Tuesday and Thursday shifts. Please note that our hours have changed for those two shifts. Lois will be working from 5pm to 8pm. She will be working with adult fiction and non-fiction requests.
The East Hounsfield Library is interested in hosting a knitting clubtwice a month. It is open to all interested patrons, on the first and third Sunday afternoons of each month. Held at the library from 2pm on, it will be open to all ability levels.
